Changes/Events Of the Han

There were lots of interesting and dynasty changing events in the Han Dynasty. Some important facts that impacted the Han Dynasty all started when Liu Bang founded the Han dynasty and was the dynasties first emperor. Liu Bang was a rather crude man who had been a minor official spot in a dynasty before his own. He was known for his hatred for Confucians and other members of his family, after Liu Bang’s death, his empress, Lu Zhi, murdered several of his sons. Han Jing Di ruled from 157 to 141 B.C. was the forth emperor of the Western Han dynasty. Emperor Wu Di (140-87 B.C.) was known as the “martial emperor.” Which meant that he was a fearsome and ruling for 54 years beginning at the age of 15? Emperor Ai was gay and when Gaodi was killed in 195 BC during a small military fight. For the next 16 years his willowed wife became empress and she had close family members take positions in the government of eastern kingdoms as well as appointed other relatives to post. These changes may have not been the best but they helped strengthen the  Han dynasty.
