HanOp/Ed

During the Han dynasty many rules went on in the shadows, for example “Slandering an old person was also a serious offense, but beating a wife wasn't even a crime.” This a horrible rule because it is inhumane to females, because physical abuse is more painful than verbal abuse. So I propose that we change the rule that both slandering an old person and beating a wife both become serious offenses. This is because it would help bring up the population increase because it could have been deducted because a wife/woman could have been harmed or killed in a beating and would be able to reproduce. Also it is not good to beat a woman in general it’s just wrong and it could harm, scare and even possible cause trauma and fear toward the person who has been beat. Concluding this I would say that this would both help and keep the nation healthy and fear free.
